Very predictable result when fourth ranked UAEDubai (14-5) rolled over at home 11th ranked Serbian Borac (7-12) 98-74 on Sunday. Dubai made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game. Dubai had a 31-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Dubai made 7 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for Slovenian Klemen Prepelic (191-1992) who led the winners and scored 12 points and 9 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!). Jordanian center Ahmad Dwairi (212-1993) accounted for 9 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winning side. Nikola Manojlovic (201-2002, agency: Octagon Europe) came up with 15 points and 9 rebounds and forward Stefan Fundic (200-1994) added 13 points and 13 rebounds respectively for Borac in the defeat. Five Borac players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dubai maintains fourth place with 14-5 record. Loser Borac CA keeps the eleventh position with 12 games lost.
